IFC — a member of the World Bank Group — is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets. CIT Corporate Information Technology seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Management and Quality Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure our data assets’ accuracy, integrity, and quality. You will work closely with various departments to develop and implement data management strategies, establish data quality standards, and ensure compliance with industry best practices. This position will be based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Monitor and maintain data quality by performing regular audits, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide guidance on data-related issues.
- Design and execute data quality assessments and improvement plans.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation related to data management processes, data flows, and data quality metrics.
- Provide training and support to team members on data management and quality best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management and quality techniques.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience in data management, data quality, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data quality assessment and improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Certification in data management or data quality (e.g., CDMP, IQCP) is a plus.
