Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (IICPSD) supports the private sector and foundations to become transformative partners in development through research, advocacy for inclusive business, facilitation of public-private dialogue and brokering partnerships. IICPSD, established in 2011 in partnership with the Government of Turkey, is one of UNDP’s six Global Policy Centres. It leads UNDP’s global work on private sector and foundations and supports UNDP’s offices all over the world.
Task description
- The volunteer is expected to:
- Create a minimum of two different illustrations for each of the 13 bias type -Design a single comprehensive visualization that represents all 50 AI bias categorizations, structured like a tree diagram or network map.
- The volunteer should deliver high-quality, publication-ready graphics within the agreed timeline, ensuring that the illustrations align with the guidelines’ visual identity and messaging while maintaining consistency across all materials.
- Additionally, the volunteer is expected to provide two rounds of revisions for each designed material based on feedback, ensuring that the final product meets the required standards.

Required experience
- A degree or certification in graphic design, visual arts, communication design, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience with a strong portfolio will also be considered.
- At least two or three years of experience in graphic design. A minimum of five completed contracts/projects for the provision of design services, preferably in illustration, editorial design, or infographics. Experience in designing educational or technical publications is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent design tools. Strong illustration skills with the ability to visually represent complex concepts. Understanding of visual storytelling and composition to ensure engaging and meaningful graphics. Experience with vector graphics and digital illustration techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple illustrations simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency across all graphics. Ability to work collaboratively with the SDG AI Lab team and incorporate feedback effectively.
