Responsibilities
- Continuous and engaged community liaison ensured with the participants of the Feminist Network for Gender Transformative Education
- Ensuring FemNet4GTE meetings are convened with quality, feminist, and inclusive content
- Ensuring knowledge and expertise gained from the FemNet4GTE is consolidated and amplified http://www.ungei.org/

Requirements
(1) Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Public and/or private sector partnerships, education, communications, marketing, public relations, business administration and management, technology, or social sciences.
- Knowledge and experience in gender and/or education is a plus.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
(2) Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field desirable
- 3-5 years of experience in working with international organizations, NGOs, CSOs or in development areas, including at least 2 years of experience managing community-level, local or regional partnerships
- Experience in managing international communities/partnerships is desirable
- At least 3 years of experience in supporting the planning and organization of campaigns, events, workshops, and meetings at national or international level
- Excellent communications skills, in particular with partners including CSOs, NGOs and activists
- An understanding of issues related to feminism, gender equality in education and girls’ education is a must
Further Requirements:
- Completed profile in UNICEF’s e-Recruitment system and
- Upload copy of academic credentials
- Financial proposal that will include/ reflect :
- the costs per each deliverable and the total lump-sum for the whole assignment (in US$) to undertake the terms of reference.
- travel costs and daily subsistence allowance, if internationally recruited or travel is required as per TOR.
- Any other estimated costs: visa, health insurance, and living costs as applicable.
- Indicate your availability
- Any emergent / unforeseen duty travel and related expenses will be covered by UNICEF.
- At the time the contract is awarded, the selected candidate must have in place current health insurance coverage.
- Payment of professional fees will be based on submission of agreed satisfactory deliverables. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment in case the deliverables submitted are not up to the required standard or in case of delays in submitting the deliverables on the part of the consultant.
