Within the context of the Philanthropy Team, UNDP requires the services of an experienced Reporting, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Specialist to ensure efficient management and impact-oriented results reporting of its partnerships with philanthropies, including communication and visibility efforts and feedback loops to include internal ongoing learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective monitoring and performance tracking of philanthropic partnerships.
  • Provide input to strategic planning processes.
  • Promote partner-facing results reporting. 
  • Ensure effective evaluation and knowledge management.
  • Provide coordination and capacity support.

Requirements

Min. Education requirements  

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent) in International Development, Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, or related field is required. OR
  • A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the above- mentioned fields, in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of advanced university degree.

Min. years of relevant work experience           

  • A minimum of 7 years (with master’s degree) or 9 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, preferably in an international development or philanthropic context is required.

Required skills 

  • Proven experience with donor reporting, data analysis, and results-based management frameworks is required.
  • Familiarity with CRM and grants management systems, data reporting dashboards (excel, PowerBi, etc.) proficiency required.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, multi- stakeholder reporting processes is required.
  • Proven track record of excellent coordination, negotiating and communication skills are required.
