ROLE OVERVIEW
The Associate for the Resource Mobilization Division supports the strategic pillars of fundraising by assisting in donor relationship management, proposal development, and performance reporting. This role is ideal for recent graduates with an analytical mindset who are eager to learn the complexities of international humanitarian financing. By drafting donor communications and conducting prospect research, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial sustainability of the ICRC’s field missions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft donor communication lines and fundraising narratives
- Support bilateral meetings with government and private donors
- Conduct prospect research on potential major donors
- Update the donor relationship management database (4D)
- Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze funding trends and performance forecasts
- Coordinate logistics for unit-level workshops and events
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Marketing, or Finance.
- Experience: Maximum one year of experience since graduation (excluding internships).
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required; French or Portuguese is a strong asset.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
