Jiangsu University invites international students to apply for the 2025-2026 Presidential Scholarship. This prestigious award supports exceptional talent and promotes cultural exchange, enhancing academic experiences in a vibrant, global learning environment. To encourage excellent students to study at Jiangsu University (JSU) and further activate the international students’ potential, JSU provides scholarship for international students getting registered for degree programs.

Degree Programs
Doctoral Degree Programs– Type A:
- Coverage: Tuition and Accommodation Fee, with an extra Living Stipend (CNY 5,000 one time)
This category of scholarship is open to the following students:
- Excellent JSU students continually studying from the master degree to doctoral degree;
- Applicants recommended by the “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities;
- Graduate applicants from the top 1000 universities in the world (according to four internationally recognized universities ranking system, namely the US News & World Report, QS, THE, ARWU);
- Graduate applicants from “First-class Universities” in China; graduates from the program of “First-class Disciplines” or top 1% of ESI.
Type B: Coverage: Tuition and Accommodation Fee for other students.
Master’s Degree Programs
Type A: Coverage: CNY25,000
This category of scholarship is open to the following students:
- Excellent JSU students continually studying from the bachelor degree to master degree;
- Graduate applicants from the top 1,000 Universities in the world (according to four internationally recognized universities ranking system, namely the US News & World Report, QS, THE, ARWU);
- Graduate applicants from “First-Class Universities” in China; and graduates from the program of “First-class Disciplines” or top 1% of ESI.
Type B: Coverage: CNY20,000 for other admitted students.

Bachelor’s Degree Programs
Type A: Coverage: CNY 10,000 (the first year ONLY)

- Construction Management (Intelligent Construction & Management)
- Bachelor Degree of Dental Surgery (BDS)
- Visual Communication Design

Type B: Coverage: CNY10,000 (every year)
- This category of scholarship is open to the following students from: Ten ASEAN countries, South Pacific Island countries, European Union countries, five Central Asian countries. Algeria, Libya, South Africa, Tunisia. Ecuador, Russia, United States, Mongolia, Mexico, Nepal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age requirements: Bachelor’s degree applicants: under 25 years, Master’s degree applicants: under 30 years and Doctoral degree applicants: under 40 years
- To be eligible, the applicants must be international students
- Must hold an offer to study in an approved program at the university.
