The United Nations is seeking a dedicated Programme Management Officer in Geneva. This role involves overseeing projects, fostering partnerships, and driving impactful initiatives. Join us to contribute to global development and humanitarian efforts.
This position is located in the Innovation and Analytics Hub (IAH) in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), in Geneva. The IAH is responsible for leading the office-wide Digital Transformation Roadmap and supporting OHCHR in Data & Analytics, Human Rights Statistics, Foresight-enabled Early Warning & Prevention and Applied Innovative Technology. The Programme Management Officer will report to the Chief, Innovation & Analytics Hub.

Responsibilities
- Develops, implements and evaluates projects leveraging frontier technologies and data analytics methods for human rights monitoring and data collection
- Performs consulting assignments with field presences and other clients, by planning and facilitating workshops
- Collects, analyzes and presents data gathered from diverse sources to identify trends or patterns and provide insights
- Coordinates policy development, including the review and analysis of issues and trends, preparation of evaluations or other research activities and studies,
- Generates survey initiatives; designs data collection tools; reviews, analyzes and interprets responses, identify problems/issues and prepares conclusions.

Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, information management, data science, computer science or a related field.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is an advantage.
- A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in supporting field operations is desirable.
