The UNDP Communication Support Internship in Bonn offers a unique chance to engage in impactful communication strategies. Interns will contribute to sustainable development initiatives while gaining valuable experience in an international environment. The incumbent is under the supervision of the Creative Communications Specialist.

Responsibilities
Provide communications support
- Support the development of communications plans
- Support drafting announcements/ blog posts for UN SDG Action Campaign key initiatives such as the UN SDG Action Awards
- Support the organization and management of Trello Boards
Collect footage on social media for highlights videos
- Support creating monthly social media content calendars as well as social media scheduling and analytics using Hootsuite and Keyhole
- Support creating multimedia content, gifs and animations using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Support in promoting Campaign brand awareness and advocacy priorities and programs on social media channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube

Requirements
Education:
- Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher)
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program
Experience:
- Experience in communications, content creation and social media applications such as Instagram, LinkedIn, X.
- Familiarity with the UN system in general is an asset
