The UNHCR is hiring an Associate PSP Officer specializing in AI development, aiming to enhance technology solutions that support refugee assistance and improve operational efficiencies across global initiatives. The UNHCR is a global organization committed to saving lives, protecting rights, and creating a brighter future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless individuals. This role is part of the Global Analyst Team within the Private Sector Partnerships Service (PSP). As a member of the Global Analyst Team, the incumbent will support the expansion of analysis and insight capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models to analyze fundraising data and predict trends.
- Implement machine learning algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows. Utilize AI tools to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- Provide detailed reports and visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
- Continuously monitor and refine AI models to ensure optimal performance
- Work closely with the Global Analyst Team to understand their analytical needs and challenges.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on AI tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with other PSP teams to align AI initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve fundraising efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
Education
- The right candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree in fields like math, statistics, computer science, business administration and other relevant fields.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years (2 years for master’s degree holder) of relevant working experience.
- Utilized cloud-based AI/ML services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Vertex AI) and tools for model development, training, and deployment.
- Focused on building and deploying AI applications. Experience with integrating ML models into larger systems and working with APIs.
- Deep understanding of Azure or GCP cloud services.
- Experience with deploying and managing ML infrastructure, including containerization and orchestration.
- Proficient in scripting and automation.
