Scope of Work:
- The Consultant – Digital Impact will work alongside the ICTD Senior Advisor and other members of the ICTD team as needed, to develop three products:
- “Executive Digital Transformation and Child Rights for Senior Leaders” training will strengthen the ability of senior leaders, including in UN Country Teams to integrate child rights into UNICEF and UN supported digital policies and programs, improve coordination on digital initiatives impacting children, and advocate for safe, equitable digital ecosystems in the countries we operate in. This supports the vision of UNICEF’s SP2026-2029 and UN80 by advancing a forward-looking, inclusive, and rights-based approach to ensure a common understanding of digital transformation in country teams. Key tasks include developing a strategic framework, creating training and knowledge-sharing tools, mapping existing resources from the UN family of organisations, and fostering inter-agency collaboration to align digital transformation efforts with child rights priorities.
- “Digital Transformation in Planning” toolkit will strengthen UNICEF Country Offices’ ability to integrate and budget for digital transformation in support of programme implementation and impact. Building on the existing body of work, the consultant will consolidate and disseminate guidance to regional offices and country offices.
