The Contractor is expected to deliver the following : Efficient and timely implementation of branch activities. Timely completion of tasks assigned by Branch Chief and FSDO staff members. Timely and effectiveness of communication with supervisor and FSDO staff members to ensure prompt deliver. Demonstrated understanding of the work requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the guidance and supervision of the Chief of the Strategic Engagement and Policy Integration Branch (SEPIB), the Individual Contractor will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist in the coordination of programme/project planning and implementation of work of SEPIB; follow-up on status of project proposals; ensure project documents are complete and submit to relevant parties for approval and signature.
- Provide general assistance to the branch; review, log and route memos, letters and other documents for financial clearance and approval; organize and schedule meetings for the branch; handle routine administrative tasks, including preparing travel forecasts and updating information on programme implementation monitoring.
- Liaise with diverse organizational units to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions and resolve issues related to the implementation of project activities. d) Monitor the submission of event notifications, travel requests, including consultancies, contractual services and payments and maintain a tracking system.
- Prepare, maintain and update files (electronic and paper) and internal databases.
- Draft, review and edit correspondence and communications related to all aspects of project administration, including preparation of work plan and budgets, revisions and other related issues.
- Coordinate the logistical aspects of the organization of meetings and associated events, including sourcing of quotes for conference packages, IT services, interpretation; preparing and sending invitation letters, liaising with resource persons and participants.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 4 years of experience in organizing and supporting international conferences and meetings
- Experience with the UN common system and/or other international organizations Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
- Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
