Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication plan aligned with the project’s specific objectives and activities.
- Produce and disseminate high-quality content, such as news releases, articles, newsletters, social media posts, and reports highlighting the project progress and achievements.
- Identify and develop subjects/success stories and develop communications and advocacy products.
- Develop informational materials like brochures, infographics and fact sheets to explain project activities and result.
- Coordinate technical arrangements and requests for project events, trainings and audio-visual settings, supporting external and internal engagement efforts such as through event planning and promotion, and/ or organizing related material.
- Coordinate knowledge-sharing events such as webinars, workshops and events to disseminate information about project activities and findings.
- Enhance the project’s visibility through strategic media engagement, including, traditional and digital media, events, and trainings.
- Develop specialized emergency or multi hazard risk communications, community engagement, and advocacy plans, to raise awareness of communicable diseases among affected populations.
- Coordinate and deliver communication and Risk Communication and Community Engagement training for health workers and communities in the earthquake affected region.

Requirements
Education
- Essential: A first university degree (bachelor’s level or equivalent) in a relevant field (such as communication, audio-visual design, and marketing).
- Desirable: An advanced university degree in any of the above related fields. Courses in communication techniques and/or graphic design and/or visual language in the use of social media. Training in risk communication
Experience
- Essential: A minimum of two years of work experience with donor related projects in an international organisation, delivering communications services and products, at the national level.
- Desirable: Experience in working with WHO or other UN agencies, MoH or civil society.
