SDG Finance Policy Specialist

Under the direct supervision of the SDG Finance Advisor and INFF Team Lead, Sustainable Finance Hub, and working closely with the other team members, the SDG Finance Policy Specialist will be responsible for the performance of the following functions and duties: Providing quality assurance on financing strategies, development finance assessments and other INFF activities and products, Coordinating with regional bureaus, country offices and INFF Facility partners, Facilitating country exchange, delivering training and capacity development, Managing the annual INFF survey and publications and Coordinating strategic engagement with partners.

Data Visualization Analyst – IPSA 8 – Homebased

The UN Reform Resolution tasks UNDP to provide countries with an “integrator function” to accelerate progress towards the SDGs by tackling multiple interlinked and interdependent development challenges. The UNDP Global Policy Network (GPN) draws on expertise globally to provide more effective responses to the complex development challenges countries face in achieving the SDGs and responding to crisis in an integrated and coherent manner.

Insurance Development Specialist

The role of the Insurance for Development Specialist is to drive forward UNDP’s work in insurance for development, resilient nature and insurance innovation, and to guide and coordinate all the partnerships that UNDP already implements in the subject, including the Global Actuarial Initiative, the Insurance Innovation Challenge Fund, the Insurance Development Forum, the Landscape of Microinsurance, the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance, as well as all insurance development tools and interventions of the IRFF. The Specialist will support regional and country workplan development and implementation, knowledge management and advocacy work, and increasingly country backstopping.

This assignment aims to support the Nature Hub digital team in project management, coordination, and knowledge management of key ongoing digital initiatives.

International consultant on gender-responsive employment policy (Home Based)

To familiarize oneself with the draft content of the Gender-responsive employment policy guidelines for public servants and peer review the guidelines and to collaboratively conduct capacity development training (in an online modality) for CSB staff on gender-responsive employment policies.

Regional Evaluation Analyst Consultant – East and Southern Africa

 The Evaluation Consultant is an integral member of the team and is expected to support the evaluation management and conduct. The work of the consultant will be home-based and will need to connect with the team during East and Southern Africa working hours via online platforms.  

Technical Consultancy to Develop and Facilitate Action Coalition on GBV Community of Practice sessions

Working closely with and reporting to the Thematic lead on AC GBV, the consultant will be responsible for developing a 2024 CoP plan and concepts notes for each session based on an existing needs assessment survey conducted in December last year, curate and facilitate four CoP sessions; lead 4 discussions over discussion boards, engage with CoP members, and provide 2 progressive reports – one for the CoP sessions and one from the discussion boards, based on UN Women corporate guidelines at the end of the year.
